Who Is Trader Barbie?

Trader Barbie is the trading persona of Danis Bailey, founder of Risk to Riches University and the Risk 2 Riches trading community.

Danis created Trader Barbie to represent something powerful: the idea that financial education, market mastery, and personal empowerment should be accessible to everyone—especially women and professionals who want more control over their time, income, and future.

Danis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Before entering the world of trading and entrepreneurship full-time, she spent over a decade working in the public school sector, teaching and supporting students across multiple schools. Her background in psychology, education, and human behavior plays a major role in how she approaches trading, particularly in the areas of discipline, emotional regulation, and trader mindset.

What began as a personal journey to understand the stock market eventually evolved into a mission to help others learn how the markets work in a structured, disciplined, and approachable way.

Through Risk to Riches University, Trader Barbie teaches traders how to approach the markets with preparation, patience, and strategy rather than hype or impulsive decision-making.

Her teaching focuses on key pillars of trading, including:

In addition to trading education, Danis is also a published author on Amazon, sharing knowledge and insight through her writing.

Danis hosts the podcast “Day Trading with Dani,” available on all major streaming platforms, where she discusses trading concepts, mindset, and the journey of developing as a trader.
